After it was founded in 1817, the distillery looks back on some very dark times: countless changes of ownership, temporary closures. In 2015 the distillery was taken over by an Australian entrepreneur who breathed new life into Bladnoch and modernized it. Bladnoch Samsara matured in ex bourbon casks for an
