The middle weight flavors are not quite as dense as those of the Forêt but they’re slightly finer while offering good power and punch on the peppery and spicy finish

vibrant and more powerful larger-scaled flavors exude notably more minerality on the youthfully austere and superbly persistent finale

Jean-Michel Gerin, Cote Rotie Grandes Places Vintage:2005 The middle weight flavors areFresh, juicy, crisp, ripe and smoky, the fruit is ripe, with good sweetness, energy with a sappy, spicy, peppery kick and a hint of flowers. Still young, with air, this is showing quite nicely.
