From a praised vintage
There is good weight and punch to the velvety and round medium weight flavors that possess excellent intensity on the firm and somewhat disjointed finish
The 2010 Catena Zapata Malbec Argentino is a blend of grapes from Adrianna and Nicasia
open and delivering licorice
lightly spiced black fruit that is actually quite Pomerol-like in style with a touch of fennel and sage towards the finish
Lignier-Michelot Vintage:2019 From a praised vintage(from a . 30 ha parcel). Deeply hued. There is a vaguely exotic quality to the spicy aromas of orange peel, jasmine tea, cinnamon and black cherry scents. The super sleek palate impression of the medium bodied flavors is due largely to the very fine grained tannins shaping the stony, tautly muscular and sneaky long finish. This is really lovely and should age accordingly.
