Distinctly cooler on the nose than the San Lorenzo di Verduna, offering scents of cherry and musky underbrush. Then sweeter and more concentrated in the mouth, but still with a coolish, savory character to the red fruit and balsamic flavors. Finishes with serious tannins that turn a bit dry with air.
