Josep Grau Vespres, 2021 Maremma Palate is stony yet lacedDark berries, red fruit, purple flowers. Palate is silky with concentrated, elevated berries and a rustic, unique, edgy, unmanipulated character emoting vinification in concrete. The wine is a field blend of Grenache, Carignan, Syrah from 50 70 year old vines from several small plots in the southern area of Montsant. The field blend is a tribute to the growers of Cartoixa de Scala Dei, the monks who planted these varieties over 1000 years ago. Josep
