By Royal Warrant of February 2002 the maximum number of awards was amended to 201 and the qualifying period reduced to 20 years

Queens Volunteer Reserve Medal CHRISTMAS2024 AIRCREW̴Ì_The Queens Volunteer Reserve Medal was established in 1999 this is awarded to men and women of the reserve services for outstanding service that previously would have been rewarded with one of the grades of The Order of The British Empire. Recipients are entitled to use the post nominal QVRM.
