Distinguished Conduct Medal EIIR Miniature Category_General Service Medals (1599-1658)In 1993 the DCM was discontinued and replaced by the CGC. Many of the awards from this period have their citations classified as they were made for acts in Northern Ireland or to Special Forces, the names of all recipients have however been published in the London Gazette. No bars have been awarded to the EIIR issue, although bars were announced by the Queen these were second awards to holders of a GVI DCM.
